Northwest Arkansas General Manager Murry Cline, the Driver Management team, and several drivers who participated in the Springdale High School CDL program recently presented Educator Chad Burkett with a plaque on behalf of the teams at APAC-Central, SMG and Arkhola.

Katherine Carter, Safety Manager for APAC-Central in Oklahoma, was honored as the CRH Americas Materials Safety Professional of the Year at the 2025 AMAT Innovation Awards Conference in December.

APAC-Central recently celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting for its CapEx project, Sharps Quarry, on October 31, 2025.

Lucas Byrne, Project Manager at APAC-Central, recently spent the past year giving back to the industry as an instructor with the Arkansas Construction Education Foundation (ACEF) Pre-Apprenticeship program. ACEF is the largest nonprofit construction trade school in Arkansas, serving more than 1,000 students statewide since 1994 and partnering with the Associated General Contractors of Arkansas to deliver workforce training programs.

APAC-Central in the River Valley was recently awarded two awards at the Oklahoma Asphalt Paving Association meeting in February. The Rural Overlay Award comes from their project at the Indian Nation Turnpike in Pushmataha County.

APAC-Central has been paving the way for the next generation of driving professionals, as it established the Driving Academy in May of 2022. Located in Northwest Arkansas, the driving academy aims to empower its students to embark on successful and fulfilling driving careers and produce skilled drivers who exemplify professionalism, responsibility, and a commitment to excellence.
