Katherine Carter, Safety Manager for APAC-Central in Oklahoma, was honored as the CRH Americas Materials Safety Professional of the Year at the 2025 AMAT Innovation Awards Conference in December. Her unwavering dedication to safety excellence and commitment to advancing industry standards set an inspiring example for all of us.

In addition to her leadership role, Katherine has actively contributed to multiple AMAT committees, sharing her expertise to strengthen the entire CRH Americas Materials network. She also serves as Chair of the Branding and Outreach Committee for the Oklahoma Aggregates Association and recently made history as the first female Chair of OKAA’s Board of Directors in its 22-year history, a testament to her influence and leadership within the industry.

Her efforts have been pivotal in shaping safety practices and fostering collaboration across organizations.
